Joshua J. Ebersole, 29, of Attica, was charged April 21 with assault in the third degree. Ebersole was arrested following an investigation of a reported assault on March 6 in Portageville. He is due in the Town of Genesee Falls Court at a later date.
Aaron K. Dumunn, 22, of Buffalo, was charged April 19 with uninspected motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended or revoked. During routine traffic patrol, a Perry Police officer got a hit on the license plate reader showing the registration was allegedly revoked due to an insurance lapse. Dumunn is due in the Village of Perry Court May 10.
Kevin M. Connolly, 36, of Orchard Park, was charged April 21 with criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Connolly was arrested following a complaint on Route 78, Java, for violating an order of protection. He is accused of calling the victim eight times within a two week time period. Connolly was arrested in the Town of Wales and taken to the Village of Arcade Court for arraignment. He was jailed in the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond. He is due in the Town of Java Court May 4.
Robert L. Stresing Jr., 53, of Arcade, was charged April 21 with filed to yield the right of way-stop sign. Stresing stopped at the intersection of Howe and North Woods roads and proceeded across the intersection when he struck 27-year-old Jamie L. Barber, who was driving north on North Woods Road. Barber, who had her 5- and 2-year-old daughters with her in the vehicle at that time, were taken to Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital, Springville, via Arcade Ambulance for neck pain and precautionary reasons. They were treated and released. Stresing, who was not injured, is due in Arcade Town Court May 19. Wyoming County Sheriff deputies were assisted at the scene by the Arcade Fire Department and Arcade Police.
