From the DA's Office: Skotnicki pled not guilty to burglary

The following people appeared in Wyoming County Court March 3.

Sarah Skotnicki, whose alleged crime was committed in Bennington, pled not guilty to burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and petit larceny. Motions are scheduled for April 28. Bail was set at $5,000.

Kyle Burdick, whose alleged crime took place in Java, had motions submitted and his case adjourned to March 24. 

Brittany Kulczyk, whose alleged crime was committed in Java, had her case adjourned to March 24.

Cody Eaton, whose crime was committed in Middlebury, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, a Class E felony. Eaton was sentenced to one year interim probation. The case has been adjourned to Feb. 23 for appearance.

James Bumbarger, whose alleged crime took place in Perry, appeared for motions. The case has been adjourned to March 31 for a Huntley Hearing. A Huntley Hearing is a pretrial hearing in New York State and is requested for the purpose of reviewing the manner in which the police obtained statements from the defendant.

David Irwin, who committed a crime in Perry, was sentenced to six months in jail, five years probation, an order of protection was issued, and he has to pay $875 in restitution. He was convicted of assault in the second degree.

Tiffany Baker, who committed a crime in Warsaw, pled guilty to promoting prison contraband in the first degree, a Class D felony. She was sentenced to one year interim probation. The case has been adjourned to Feb. 23.

Chastity Brace, whose alleged crime took place in Warsaw, had her case adjourned to March 9. She is held in the Wyoming County Jail without bail.

Julie Bumbarger, who committed a crime in Warsaw, was sentenced to five years probation and $1,500 in restitution. She was convicted of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a Class D felony.

James Kososki Jr., whose crime was committed in Warsaw, was sentenced to five years probation and $20 in restitution. He was convicted of attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a Class E felony.

Mark Develder, whose alleged crime was committed in Wyoming County, had his case adjourned to April 21.

Ryan Donnelly, whose crime took place in Wyoming County, was re-sentenced on a violation of conditional discharge. The sentenced includes five years probation with intensive supervised probation.
